Week in Review: Moving on to the next Step

Its been a long week. I haven't had much free time at all this week, but I have made sure I made time for me and my workout schedule.

Tuesday I ran 1.5 miles and stopped a few times. Later that day I hit up the gym for a full body strength training session. I made sure I hit all my muscle groups. I'm also keeping track of the weights I used so I can see how I'm progressing.

Thursday I ran another 1.5 miles. I stopped only once which is a real win for me.

Today, Saturday, I ran another 1.5 miles. I was hoping to be able to run without stopping but I ended up stopping 3 times. I believe that its all in my head. I know physically I can run it without stopping, but mentally I can't seem to break the barrier.

Even though I wasn't able to run 1.5 miles straight I think on Tuesday I going to move up to the next step in my 5k training plan. Next I will be running 1.75 miles.

But I was able to complete my weekly goal of doing 12 pushups and surpass it by actually doing 13 pushups.

So overall, it was was a good week. I didn't go to the gym twice though so thats only 2/3 goals completed.

June 27 - July 3 Goals
  1. Run 1.5 miles 3x
  2. Do 12 proper push ups
  3. Strength Train 2 times
July 4 - July 10 Goals
  1. Run 1.75 miles 3x
  2. Do 15 pushups
  3. Take vitamins daily
