
I have finally motivated myself to go outdoors and RUN! And guess what...it was great. Although I'm exhausted it was great to run outdoors. I ran approximately 1 mile, then when I returned I went to my complex's gym. There I worked out my legs. Especially my hamstrings since those aren't being worked out on the treadmill. I also worked out my arms, which are very exhausted right now.
When I got back home I had a talk with my roommate and she gave me two different plans for training for a 5k. I am going to start one of the on Monday. I managed to find the plan online here. I don't exactly have a 5k race date in mind, but I would love to run one.
So now training for a 5k will be what I'm going to focus on. I can totally do this!
Also: My weekly weigh-in's will resume. I realized that the gym here has a weighted scale which is way more accurate than my $10 piece of crap scale.
